What is onboarding?

We talk about onboarding when we want to manage the process of a new employee's arrival in a company. Onboarding generally concerns HR departments since it involves welcoming the new arrival properly, but it also concerns the IT department because the employee needs different access and equipment to be operational.

Improving onboarding has several benefits:

• The employee feels welcome and can integrate more easily.
• the tools are ready upon arrival, so the user is immediately operational
• the manager can take care of the training or integration of their new employee without having to run around asking for account creations, the necessary equipment, etc.
