Onboarding

What is onboarding?

Onboarding is the term used to describe the process of bringing a new employee into a company. Onboarding generally concerns HR departments, as it involves properly welcoming the newcomer, but it also involves the IT Department, as the employee needs various access and hardware facilities to be operational.

Improving onboarding has several benefits:

  • the employee feels welcome and can integrate more easily
  • the tools are ready when he arrives, so he is operational immediately
  • the manager can take care of the training or integration of his new employee without having to run around to ask for the creation of accounts, the necessary equipment etc...
