Customer Identity and Access Management

Customer Identity and Access Management is a subcategory of IAM aimed at managing a company's customers or end-users at the level of security and access to online services.

The objective of CIAM is to provide a quality customer experience while protecting data. This is reflected in securing customer connections on the company's sites or applications, preventing fraud such as identity theft. The company verifies the identity of customers and grants them access to their services.

In addition, this implies providing the right levels of access to customers once they are on the site or application. Customers should have access to the appropriate features, data, and resources based on their profile, preferences, and permissions.
