IT Automation

What is IT automation?

Automation in IT refers to the use of software, scripts, and other tools to perform repetitive or complex tasks autonomously, without direct human intervention.

For example, automation can be used to create regular data backups, as part of identity and access management, to create accounts, to send emails in the resource request process, to detect account anomalies, etc.

Automation can save time, improve the accuracy and consistency of IT tasks, and reduce human errors. It is often used in companies and organizations to improve operational efficiency and reduce errors in order to secure the IS.

Automation is not necessarily a 'convenience' practice but often a real necessity to deliver error-free and fast work.
