1. Data Controller

Youzer SAS, with its principal place of business located at 11 rue de Lourmel, 75015 Paris, is responsible for processing the personal data collected through the website www.youzer.net and in connection with its services.

2. Data Collected and Purposes

Youzer collects personal data in the following contexts:

2.1 Website Forms (Demo Request, Contact, Newsletter)

Data collected: last name, first name, work email address, phone number, company name, job title.

Purposes and Legal Bases:

  • Responding to your contact requests or requests for a demonstration — legal basis: precontractual measures (Article 6.1.b of the GDPR)
  • Sending you our newsletter and marketing communications — legal basis: consent (Article 6.1.a of the GDPR)
  • To contact you again for the purpose of B2B sales prospecting — legal basis: legitimate interest (Article 6.1.f of the GDPR)

2.2 Scheduling Appointments (Calendly)

Data collected: last name, first name, email address, and information entered in the appointment request form.

Purpose: to schedule a demonstration or a business meeting — Legal basis: precontractual measures

2.3 Navigating the Site

Data collected: IP address, browser type, pages viewed, duration of visit, traffic source.

Purpose: Audience measurement and website improvement — Legal basis: Consent via the cookie manager (see Section 3)

2.4 Using the Youzer Platform (Customers)

Data collected: the data necessary for identity and access management, as defined in the service agreement and the associated data processing register.

Purpose: Performance of the service contract — Legal basis: Contract performance (Article 6.1.b of the GDPR)

Note: When customers use the Youzer platform, Youzer acts as a data processor under the GDPR. The customer remains the data controller for its own users’ data. The terms of this data processing are governed by a separate Data Processing Agreement (DPA).

3. Cookies and Trackers

3.1 Consent Manager

Youzer uses Axeptio as its consent management platform (CMP). When you first visit the site, a banner allows you to accept or reject the various categories of cookies. You can change your preferences at any time by clicking on the Axeptio widget at the bottom of the page.

Analytics cookies are only set after you have given your explicit consent. If you do not give your consent, no browsing data is sent to Google.

4. Tracking pixels in emails

Youzer uses Brevo (formerly Sendinblue) to send its newsletters and marketing communications. These emails may contain a tracking pixel (an invisible 1×1-pixel image) that allows us to know:

  • whether the email was opened;
  • on what date and at what time;
  • the type of device and email client used.

This data is processed in aggregate form to measure the performance of our campaigns and improve the relevance of our communications.

Legal basis: consent. The tracking pixel is active only for contacts who have consented to receiving marketing communications. You may at any time:

  • You can unsubscribe by clicking the link included in each email.
  • Block images from loading in your email client to prevent the pixel from triggering.

Youzer does not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for commercial purposes.

6. Data Transfers Outside the EU

Some of our subcontractors are located in the United States (Webflow, Google, Stripe, Calendly). These transfers are governed by:

  • the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (DPF) for certified processors;
  • standard contractual clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission for the others.

The data processed by the Youzer platform on behalf of its clients is hosted in France on the Kissgroup infrastructure.

At the end of these periods, the data is deleted or anonymized.

8. Your Rights

In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Right of Access — to obtain confirmation that your data is being processed and to receive a copy of it.
  • Right to Rectification — to have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected.
  • Right to erasure — request that your data be deleted, subject to legal retention requirements.
  • Right to Restriction of Processing — Request a temporary suspension of the processing of your data.
  • Right to data portability — to receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
  • Right to Object — You have the right to object to the processing of your data based on legitimate interests, including for marketing purposes.
  • You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time, without this affecting the lawfulness of the processing carried out prior to the withdrawal.
  • The right to establish post-mortem instructions regarding the retention, deletion, and disclosure of your data after your death.

We are committed to responding to your request within one month. This timeframe may be extended by two months in the case of a complex request, in which case you will be notified.

9. Data Security

Youzer implements appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, loss, alteration, or disclosure. These measures include, among others, encryption of data in transit (HTTPS/TLS), restricting access to data to authorized personnel, and regular backup procedures.

The Youzer platform has been certified with the France Cybersecurity and Made in France labels and is hosted by Kissgroup on infrastructure located in France.

10. Minors

Youzer's services are intended for professionals. Youzer does not knowingly collect personal information from minors under the age of 16. If you are a parent or guardian and you discover that a minor has provided personal information to Youzer, please contact us at [email protected] so that we can delete it.

11. Changes to This Policy

Youzer reserves the right to modify this privacy policy to ensure it remains in compliance with applicable regulations. In the event of a substantial change, we will notify you via a prominent notice on our website. The date of the last update is indicated at the top of this page.
