IAM (Identity and Access Management)

What is a GIA?

IAM stands for Identity and Access Management. In English, the acronym is IAM.

This term refers to the processes and tools used to manage user authorizations within a company. From onboarding to offboarding, GIA makes it possible to create, deactivate or delete access to the information system, depending on the user's contractual relationship with the entity. In the event of internal movement (change of function, geographical location...), GIA will enable you to set up access modifications to bring them into line with the user's new function.
