User

What is a user?

A user in the"IAM" sense is a natural person who has a contractual relationship with the entity, and for whom we need to manage his or her authorizations or access to the entity's various software applications.

A user can be an employee (and often is) who has a permanent contract, a fixed-term contract, etc., but he or she can also be a temporary worker, a freelancer.

Users interact with a computer system and have access to specific software applications.

Users can have different levels of access and privileges in a computer system, depending on their roles and responsibilities.

User and access management is an important aspect of IT security, ensuring that only authorized people have access to sensitive resources and limiting the risk of security breaches and data leaks.
