User

What is a user?

A user in the "IAM" sense is a physical person who has a contractual relationship with the entity and for whom we must manage their authorizations or their access to the entity's various software applications.

A user can be an employee (which is often the case) under a permanent or fixed-term contract, etc., but they can also be a temporary worker or a freelancer.

Users interact with a computer system and have specific software applications available to them.

Users can have different levels of access and privileges in a computer system depending on their roles and responsibilities.

User and access management is an important aspect of IT security, as it ensures that only authorized individuals have access to sensitive resources and limits the risk of security breaches and data leaks.
