WordPress is an application for creating and managing websites. It includes features such as themes to customize the look and feel, plugins to add functionality, and content and media management tools. WordPress simplifies the creation of blogs, business sites and online stores. Available on the Appstore, WordPress can be used via WordPress.com for a hosted solution or via WordPress.org for a self-hosted solution.
In 2023, WordPress represented 43.2% of websites worldwide.
The WordPress Connector lets you manage the accounts that have access to your WordPress instance. Accounts are listed on Youzer with information such as last name, first name and lastlogin date, and it's possible to create accounts with the right information using Youzer's pre-configured packages.
It is also possible to suspend accounts, if Youzer, for example, detects that a user has left (having retrieved information from the HRIS) but still has an active WordPress account.
The WordPress connector connects to the WordPress APIs on the instance hosted on your infrastructure.
To set up the WordPress connector, you first need to install or configure the jwt-auth module on your WordPress instance.
Once this is done, add the connector to Youzer and enter the WordPress login and password to be used.
