What is a workflow?

A workflow is the organized sequence of tasks, activities or steps required to complete a specific process or activity within an organization.

A workflow can be used in many fields and industries, such as project management, production, request management, administrative processes, digital workflows and so on. It defines the order, logic and operating rules for completing a series of tasks.

In the context ofIAM, a workflow is an automated process that manages the various steps involved in granting users access to an organization's IT systems.
