Workflows

What is a workflow?

A workflow, also called a business process, designates the organized sequence of tasks, activities, or steps necessary to accomplish a specific process or activity within an organization.

A workflow can be used in many fields and industries, such as project management, production, request management, administrative processes, digital workflows, etc. It allows defining the order, logic, and operating rules to successfully complete a series of tasks.

In the context of IAM, a workflow will be an automated process that manages the various steps involved in managing user access rights to an organization's IT systems.
