Snowflake RH Connector

Snowflake is a cloud-based data platform developed by the U.S. company of the same name. It serves as a central data warehouse where companies consolidate data from their various applications (finance, sales, HR, etc.) for analysis. Many organizations use it to centralize a consolidated HR repository, particularly when they have multiple HRIS systems.

The connector uses Snowflake as its HR data source. The following data is imported into Youzer: identity, employee ID, department, start and end dates, and manager.

This is the ideal solution for organizations with multiple HRIS systems: Youzer relies on consolidated data rather than on individual systems. The connector is read-only: it does not modify anything in Snowflake.

Not to be confused with the Snowflake connector, which manages Snowflake user accounts and their permissions.

• Multi-entity groups: a single database for all employees, regardless of their original HRIS.
• Onboarding and offboarding: Consolidated dates trigger the opening and closing of access.
• Authorization Reviews: The consolidated hierarchy designates the approvers.

Configuration is done through Youzer using read-only access provided by your data team, limited to the HR data to be used. The data is then imported automatically and on a regular basis.
