What is Salesforce?

Salesforce is a cloud-based software package with well-known customer relationship management (CRM) solutions.

Its SaaS CRMs fall into four categories: sales, customer support, marketing and e-commerce. Salesforce's CRMs allow companies to track customers, get to know them better, and have more targeted communication.

CRMs provide excellent customer knowledge, insight into acquisition channels, and refinement of communication channels. Salesforce is a pioneer in cloud-based software.

What can the Salesforce connector do?

The Salesforce connector allows you to list the Salesforce accounts of your different users. This connector also allows you to create accounts, modify them, suspend them. The deletion of accounts is not supported because it is a feature not supported by Salesforce.

The main attributes you can manage with the Salesforce connector are the username (email), last name, first name, nickname...

It is also possible to manage advanced attributes like manager, PermissionSet, PermissionSetLicense, territories...

Finally, it is possible to manage custom fields that you may have created on Salesforce directly. To do this, you will have to set up mappings on the Youzer connector so that it can display and possibly modify the different information.

How does the Salesforce connector work?

As Salesforce is very rich in APIs, the connector is quite powerful and allows you to perform all automated operations through calls to these APIs.

Upon creating the Salesforce connector, you will be redirected to a consent window where you will be asked to validate access to Youzer on your Salesforce instance.
