Salesforce HR Connector

Salesforce is the customer relationship management (CRM) platform developed by the U.S.-based company of the same name. Highly customizable, it is sometimes used for purposes beyond CRM, such as managing a directory of employees, consultants, or partners. It is used by companies of all sizes, particularly mid-sized companies and large corporations.

The connector uses Salesforce as its HR data source: the employees you manage there are imported into Youzer along with their employment information.

The connector does not interact with Salesforce: any action generates a request to the application administrator, which is tracked in Youzer.

Not to be confused with the Salesforce connector, which manages Salesforce user accounts (creation, modification, suspension, permissions).

• Business Repository: Consultants or partners tracked in Salesforce populate the access processes.
• Onboarding: When a new hire is entered into Salesforce, it triggers the creation of accounts.
• Offboarding: An exit recorded in Salesforce triggers the revocation of access.
• Authorization reviews: Managers from Salesforce approve access.

Configuration is done in Youzer using the credentials provided by your Salesforce administrator, who specifies where employees are managed. The import then occurs automatically and on a regular basis.
