What is Microsoft Azure?

Microsoft Azure is a cloud computing service. It allows companies to digitize and outsource all or part of their infrastructure. It is thus possible to benefit from the advantages of the cloud and Microsoft security without having to resort to purchasing or renting space in a data center. This also simplifies the use and administration of Microsoft tools such as Active Directory, SharePoint, etc.

What does the Microsoft Azure connector do?

The Microsoft Azure connector is relatively similar to the Microsoft 365 connector since Microsoft 365 relies on Azure AD as its directory. It includes all the import, creation, modification functionalities, etc.

It is rare to use the Azure connector, as most companies use the mail or license hosting part, which is managed more synthetically on Microsoft 365.

How does the Microsoft Azure connector work?

The Azure connector connects to the Microsoft Azure APIs (Graph API) to perform the main operations.

When setting up the connector, simply accept the validation of the consent screen on your Azure tenant.
