What is Google Sheets HR?

Google Sheets HR is a spreadsheet in SaaS, therefore accessible from anywhere. Google Sheets allows you to perform calculations and create databases in a collaborative mode.

Google Sheets is part of the Google Workspace suite of tools. Google Sheets is very similar to Excel; spreadsheets can be exported in .xls format to be read in Excel, and it is possible to import Excel formats into Google Sheets.

What does the Google Sheets RH connector do?

The Google Sheets connector allows you to use a Google Sheets spreadsheet as an HR data source to import your users into Youzer. This connector is very flexible and allows you to import a list of users from a sheet in your spreadsheet, choosing the columns you want to import.

The Youzer Google Sheets HR connector allows you to define mappings and import the fields you want: Last Name, First Name, geographic location, employee number, position, department, arrival date, departure date, manager, etc.

You can then benefit from a consolidated dashboard in Youzer of the arrivals and departures of your users.

How does the Google Sheets HR connector work?

For it to work, the Google Sheets connector must first be connected to your spreadsheet. You will therefore need to authorize Youzer to access this spreadsheet by clicking "accept" on the consent screen. You will then need to enter your spreadsheet ID and sheet name.

Finally, Youzer will detect the column header titles in your table, allowing you to configure the links between the fields to be imported from your Google Sheets table to the fields on the Youzer side.
