What is Factorial?

Factorial is an HRIS software solution developed by a Spanish company based in Barcelona. It handles employee management, absences, time tracking, HR documents, and performance management, and prepares payroll data. It is primarily aimed at European small and medium-sized businesses and mid-sized companies.

What can you do with the Factorial connector?

Factorial is used as an HR data source. The following data is imported into Youzer: identity, job title, contract (start and end dates), manager, as well as country-specific fields.

The connector uses the contract history to determine the employee's actual start date, even in cases of successive contracts.

This data triggers onboarding, transfers, and offboarding. The connector is read-only: it does not make any changes in Factorial.

  • Onboarding: When an employee is added to Factorial, they are granted access to their accounts as soon as they join.
  • Mobility: A change in position or manager adjusts access rights.
  • Offboarding: The end of an employment contract triggers the revocation of access privileges at the appropriate time.
  • Accreditation reviews: The hierarchy defined in Factorial organizes the review campaigns.

When integrated with your application connectors (Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, etc.), Factorial becomes the starting point for all your employees' accounts.

How does the Factorial connector work?

Configuration is done through Youzer, using an OAuth connection or an API key generated by your Factorial administrator. The data is then imported automatically and on a regular basis.
