User Account Review

What is a user account review?

This is a very important step in a company's life, often carried out as an obligation, but it is an integral part of entitlement management.

A review of IT accounts has the primary objective of ensuring that all existing user accounts in the IT system are valid, necessary, and used in accordance with the organization's security policies. This includes verifying service accounts, administrative accounts, and normal user accounts.

This review involves verifying the existence of inactive accounts, user accounts of individuals who have left the organization, duplicates, or any other type of anomalies or potential risks associated with the accounts. Password policies, security configurations, and other account-related settings are also verified.
