3CX is a business telephony solution (software-based IP-PBX) developed by 3CX, a company based in Cyprus. It manages phone extensions, softphones on computers and mobile devices, call queues, video conferencing, and chat. It can be deployed both in the cloud and on-premises, and is primarily aimed at small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) and mid-sized companies looking to replace their traditional phone systems.

The connector syncs 3CX user information to Youzer: last name, first name, email address, extension number, and role. Each entry is linked to the corresponding employee, which makes it possible to identify extensions assigned to former employees and keep track of the number of licenses in use.

Configuration is performed through Youzer using the credentials provided by the 3CX administrator. If your 3CX server is hosted on-premises, the Youzer agent establishes the connection without exposing your infrastructure: it communicates only outbound, so no inbound ports need to be opened.
