What is identity management?

Identity Management is a set of processes, policies and technologies designed to centrally manage user identification and authentication information within an organization. It covers the creation, modification, deletion and management of user accounts.

IdM can help prevent cyber-attacks by ensuring that only authorized users have access to company resources.
