NextCloud is a cloud-based file storage software. It enables companies to manage their own storage and cloud management, thereby securing their data. NextCloud facilitates not only storage but also synchronization, fostering effective collaboration. Additionally, NextCloud offers video conferencing, instant messaging, and calendar and contact functions to streamline your communications.
The Nextcloud connector manages accounts with access to your Nextcloud instance. The accounts are listed on Youzer with details such as first name, last name, and last login date. You can also create accounts with the correct information using pre-configured packages on Youzer.
It is also possible to suspend accounts if Youzer, for example, detects that a user has left (having retrieved the information from the HRIS) but still has an active Nextcloud account.
The Nextcloud connector connects to the Nextcloud APIs on the instance hosted on your infrastructure. Therefore, certain ports must be opened for the Youzer platform to access the APIs (especially HTTPS access). Furthermore, a login/password must be provided when configuring the Nextcloud connector on Youzer.
