What is Mattermost?

Mattermost is an open-source solution designed as an alternative to Slack. Its function is instant messaging within the company by channel or group with the possibility of finding old messages in the archives. Companies can add features to Mattermost such as Windows compatibility or data encryption or create workflows.

What does the Mattermost connector do?

By connecting Mattermost to Youzer, you will have the ability to manage your users' accounts with transparency and ease. Youzer offers you a complete view of Mattermost enablement; you will find this on the connector sheet and on the users' sheet.

Connect your IS (AD for example) and your HRIS to Youzer in order to perform an account / user reconciliation that will allow you to automate your software assignments when a collaborator arrives and to suspend their accounts upon departure.

How does the Mattermost connector work?

Configuration is done in Youzer using your Mattermost server address and an access key generated by an administrator. Youzer then regularly imports users and automatically creates, modifies, and deactivates accounts. The connector works with both the online version of Mattermost and a server hosted on your premises: in the latter case, you simply need to grant Youzer access to your server. No installation is required.
