- 300 users
- 150 employees
- 150 connectors
- + More than 3,000 accounts to manage
- Problems managing access and arrivals/departures
I was told: "There's no such thing as a solution to manage all accesses!"
Testimonial from Sébastien, IT project manager at a fintech company.
What was the situation before Youzer?
In my company, I'm IT project manager, access control. I mainly manage who has access to what. Giving the right accesses and removing accesses when people leave.
We have employees, freelancers and ambassadors: that's around 300 users.
What are the access issues?
Leaving our software open to outsiders could have catastrophic consequences.
For example, if someone keeps access to the company's Twitter account, this can clearly harm the company, but if outsiders have access to IT, this will have catastrophic regulatory and compliance impacts. No one who has left the company should have access to it. We have permanent controls and a very high level of security.
In the banking world, we need to have a high level of protection when it comes to securing data, passwords and even internal Wi-Fi.
Today, I see myself as a bit of an access "sky marshal".
I'm not allowed to create or delete accesses unless I've been instructed to do so.
To integrate new resources or software into Youzer, I need to validate several security instances for both users and software.
How was it organized?
Before Youzer we had a spreadsheet file with crosses for users who owned a tool. We knew we had to track things, but it wasn't viable that way, so we looked for a solution.
When I arrived, I immediately set up 2 projects:
- audit the fleet
- find a way to manage access
When I came across Youzer, I said to myself: that's what we need!
I saw that the tools would interface themselves. Whether it's arrivals or departures.
The self-service connector was the tool that hit the spot.
Why did you choose Youzer?
When I arrived, I had a chat with the co-founder who said:
"You can look for [a solution to manage access] but don't waste too much time on it, because it doesn't exist."
✔ French solution
✔ SaaS
✔ Simple interface
✔ Quick to set up
In our company, every expense is analyzed. We don't spend money unnecessarily.
When we saw Youzer, we were seduced because it's a French solution, in SaaS (so it's accessible from anywhere, even when telecommuting), and it wasn't possible to develop it in-house.
So the decision was made quickly.
It took us a while to import all the users and all the software, because we decided to take things one step at a time.
How does Youzer work in your company today?
Today we have over 150 connectors and more than 3,000 units.
We have given access to Youzer to a restricted number of employees: certain people who do access control and supervise allocations, that's about 10 people who have access to Youzer.
Would you like to receive our white paper on identity and access management?
What did you like best about the solution?
What we really like about Youzer is the user flow section, where you have a view of arrivals and departures.
We have a lot of batch arrivals, and Youzer helps us. It saves time for provisioning, the steps to take are clear, and we automate the management of access creation.
Would you recommend Youzer?
I'd recommend Youzer without hesitation: Youzer handled the user simplification with a pragmatic approach. What's more, they're extremely responsive and agile, which is their DNA in my eyes. It's great to work with large groups, but it's also great to find such responsiveness with human-sized companies.
