- Challenges in access management and onboarding / offboarding
I was told, "A solution to manage all access doesn't exist!"
Testimonial from Sébastien, IT project manager in a fintech company.
What was the situation before Youzer?
In my company I am an IT project manager, access control. I mainly manage who has access to what. Granting the right access and removing access when people leave.
We have employees, freelancers, ambassadors: this corresponds to approximately 300 users.
What are the challenges related to the issue of access rights?
Leaving open access to our software for people who have left could have catastrophic consequences.
For example, if someone keeps access to the company's Twitter account, it can clearly harm the company, but if departed users have access in IT, it will have catastrophic impacts on the regulatory and compliance level. A departed person should no longer have access to our company. We have permanent controls and a very high level of security.
In the banking sector, we must maintain a high level of protection regarding data security, passwords, and even internal Wi-Fi.
Today, I see myself as an "air traffic controller" for access.

I am not allowed to create or delete access rights unless instructed to do so.
To integrate new resources or software into Youzer, I must have the validation of several security instances, whether for users or software.
What was the organization like?
Before Youzer, we had a spreadsheet with crosses for users who had a tool. We were well aware that things needed to be tracked, but it wasn't viable in this way, so we looked for a solution.
When I arrived, I immediately implemented 2 projects, which were:
- Perform an audit of the infrastructure
- finding a way to manage access
When I came across Youzer, I thought: that's what we need!
I saw that the tools would interface on their own. Both arrivals and departures.
The self-service connector was a hit.

Why choose Youzer?
When I arrived, I spoke with the co-founder who told me:
« You can look for [a solution to manage access rights] but don't waste too much time on it, because it doesn't exist. »
✔ French solution
✔ SaaS
✔ Simple interface
✔ Quick to set up
In our company, every expense is analyzed. We don't spend money unnecessarily.
When we saw Youzer, we were impressed because it is a French solution, in SaaS mode (therefore accessible from anywhere, even when teleworking), and it was not possible to develop this internally.
The decision was therefore swift.
We took some time to import all users and software because we decided to do things gradually.
How does Youzer operate within your company today?
Today, we have more than 150 connectors and more than 3000 units.
We granted access to Youzer to a limited number of employees: specifically, individuals involved in access control and oversight of assignments, totaling approximately 10 people with access to Youzer.
What did you like most about the solution?
What we really like about Youzer is the user flow part where we have a view on arrivals and departures.
We have quite a few batch arrivals, and Youzer helps us; it saves time for provisioning, the procedures are clear, and we automate the management of access creation.

Would you recommend Youzer?
I would recommend Youzer without hesitation: Youzer has managed the simplification of users with a pragmatic approach. In addition, they have a very high reactivity and agility that constitutes their DNA in my eyes. It's good to work with large groups, but it's also great to find such reactivity with human-sized companies.
